President Joe Biden administration is leaving it to President-elect Donald Trump to implement the ban on TikTok, which is set to take effect Sunday after the Supreme Court upheld the law Friday.

Twitter users harassed state Rep. Mai Xiong, D-Warren, this week after she pushed back on the U.S. ban of TikTok set to take effect Sunday.

“Ban assault weapons, not apps. Our country was founded on freedom, and every American should demand that their First Amendment right to free speech is protected,” she said in her post viewed more than 500,000 times.

The replies to the post are filled with accounts telling her to go back to her country.

Xiong is Hmong American.
